Avery was a liability in games 3 & 4. Can he dial it down without losing his edge?

Yeah I meant Jeff. My brothers and I usually just call him BEUUUUUUK-E-BOOOOM. Thanks for the catch. I actually am to young to have seen him play, but watching old clips & games and from how my brothers glorify him, I have a feeling I would've loved him. And he probably wouldn't have been able to keep up, but I think that applies to most players pre-lockout.

Hello,
I haven't been on in a while, hope you can forgive me. I have to respond to Sean Michota's comment on the Rangers needing a tough D man! I couldn't agree more! Actually, the Rangers need a new defense, but if you want a tough D man, Sami Helenius is the answer! Helenius is 6'7" 270 pounds and played with a few NHL teams. He's now back in his honeland which is Finland. He is an extremely physical defenseman who can kill oponents with his checks, and plays a smart, positional defensive game. Helenius is also one of the best fighters in hockey who can finish fights with just one punch! Maybe next season, sather will finally get his head out of his own ass and acquire Sami Helenius! I'm sure Bubs agrees with me on this one! Thanks for listening, and don't be a stranger rangerfan1.

Tonight is the match against Habs in Bell Centre, hope the guys bring the points back to big apple! Steve Zipay at Blue Notes has tonight's line-up:

Avery-Gomez-Zherdev
Naslund-Drury-Antropov
Sjostrom-Dubinsky-Callahan
Korpikoski-Betts-Orr

What are your opinions about Korpeedo? I'm curious, because he is from Finland just like me :)

Thanks for the welcome dude! Rags are getting better, maybe coach Torts is our saviour and the team will get to the playoffs! First I wasn't so happy when I heard about the new coach...and Prucha's leave was a sad moment. But, the team looks good now!

nice man thanks for the welcome! I haven't heard it on the page but that's because I don't have audio enabled at work sadly :( Of course I own the box set and i've watched it like 700 times since then! And we'll definitely have to grab a few beers when the Rags are in the playoffs this year

Thanks! Yeh, most of their games are ugly wins... I'm going gray watching them! We need to get a tough D-man on this team! But, I'll take the 2-1 games the rest of the year as long as the Rangers are winning!

Good thing you didn't get yourself too excited right lol? I was at that Isles game last night and they played really flat. Joey McDonald looked like he's the one that should have gotten the 15 year deal. A Tampa team that's starting to get momentum and the Caps on Saturday doesn't provide a good rebound opportunity either.
