OK, may I ask what you're drinking? We got the best fighter in the NHL (DONALD BRASHEAR)! Now I have to get a New York Rangers jersey of Brashear! Also, how many times did Brashear drop Orr like a ton of bricks? Also, who was the coward who backed down from Brashear in the playoffs? I know, that coward was Orr! From having a glass jaw chump to having the best dam fighter in the NHL as our #1 enforcer is a huge step in the right direction! Also, F.Y.I., I did write to those 2 reatrds Dolan and Sather telling them they must acquire Brasher for years! I'm HAPPY to have Donald Brashear on the Rangers! Now the hard working Rangers fans have someone to finally cheer for other than Sean Avery! Plus, Brashear can play as well. For a tough guy, he does come up with dazziling, dipsy-doodle plays to creat scoring chances unlike Orr plus Brashear has balance, can throw a mean open-ice hit, and has some agility for a big buy (UNLIKE ORR). Also, Donald Brashear ended the career of Scott Stevens! So why are you upset about the Rangers finally getting the Barry Beck/Nick Fotiu replacement they needed for years?
Gaborik?!?!?!?!?!? You're excited?!?!?!?!? Talk about pissing away money! Gaborik is a China Doll who can't even play a full season. I would have traded for Dany Heatly (but I sure wouldn't trade Avery for him). Gaborik is going to be ANOTHER disapointment, like Redden, Drury, and Gomez were before him.
Like I said, I'm real happy that Brashear is a Ranger! BRASHEAR and AVERY are the New York Rangers of the 2009-10 season!

I don't mean to be disrespectful rangerfan1, but I feel the total opposite on these acquisitions. I'm excited about Brashear, but WTF on Gaborik? I understand the ranghers need an all-star, but Gaborik is fragile and has not played a full season in 2 years. Orr is a worthless chump and a gutless puke. Yes, that was a good move not to pay Orr the $1M per for 4 seasons that he got in Toronto (WTF is Burke on, DRUGS?!?!?), but there is someone out there that can fight and still play Hockey. Milan Lucic, but the Bruins will never let him go, but Donald Brashear is that enforcer who happends to be THE BEST fighter in the NHL and is one of the most underrated players in the NHL as well. Plus, Brashear did end the career of Scott Stevens! Also, another player I totally forgot to mention is BILLY TIBBETTS. I think acquiring Tibbetts to tag team with Brashear would be A#1! Tibbetts did play 12 games for the Rangers in the past, but due to the fact that he's an ex-con, he gets an unfair rap. But who gives a F***? Tibbetts can fight and still play the game! Tyson Nash, a crowd pleasing agitator who is just as fast & Agile as Evgeny Davydov and can fight. Patrick Cote, Mike Sgroi, Georges Laraque, Todd Bertuzzi, Akim Aliu, Kyle Beach, Raitis Ivanans, & Mitch Fritz to name you a few. But you can't go wrong with DONALD BRASHEAR! Brashear is the best pick out of them all!
