Hello all,
First off, I'd like to share with all of you hard working Rangers fans that I'm happy to see that the New York Rangers acquired Donald Brashear! I've been writing to those 2 reatrds (sather and Dolan) that the Rangers need to acquire Brashear for years!!! Now, I'm finally happy to see Brashear on the Rangers! Thank God and Praise Jesus!
But remember, even though Brashear is the best dam fighter in the NHL who is the first to defend his teammates (something the Rangers have been missing since 1995), Brashear can actually play the game. Sure, he's not a fast skater like Tyson Nash, but he has agility for a big man, has balance, can throw a good open-ice hit, and can create dazziling, dipsy-doodle plays that can create scoring chances. Plus, he can kick ass.
So, to all of you people who are upset that Brashear is a Ranger, well my advice to you is to watch Disney On Ice because Hockey is not the sport for you. From a glass-jaw ass-clown (Orr) to a heavyweight champion (Brashear) as our #1 enforcer is a step in the right direction! Also, F.Y.I., FIGHTING IS A HUGE PART OF THE GAME! I can't wait to see Avery and Brashear start kicking ass and taking names in the 2009-10 season! Thanks for your time and God bless you all!

Very nice Joey! I like your style. Maybe he'll help Zherdev grow some balls. The Rangers are getting more and more gritty and I like it. Hopefully now the figure skating pansies (zherdev) will feel more confident mixing it up knowing that Brashear has their back.

Yeah, it's about time the Rangers add REAL toughness to their team. Brashear and Avery are going to put the Rangers on the map!
I must say that I love what the Flyers did by acquiring Ray Emery. Now he's a REAL goalie in my opinion!
But Gaborik? Do you really think that Gaborik will be a factor? I think he'll be the next Zherdev at best. Gaborik is a China Doll and hasn't played a full season. I love Ilya Kovalchuk and I think Kovalchuk would be the next best thing for the Rangers! Dany Heatly wants to be traded and he has said that he wants to come to New York City and play for the Rangers. I would have maybe done a deal to acquire Heatly, like for example, TRY to trade Redden and Drury for him. Yes, we do need a 50 goal scorer and we have been missing that since after the 1994 Stanley Cup win! I would have tried my ass off to acquire Kovalchuk, but if I couldn't, then I would have gone for Heatly and made Heatly wear #37 in honor of his Thrashers teammate (Dan Snyder) that he killed in that dumbass car accident! But Gaborik wouldn't even be on my radar. So, what do you think?
